This residence is located in the densely populated residential area of ahmedabad. The surroundings didn’t had any remarkable architectural character, hence the attempt was to create a well designed and neatly crafted structure which can give some architectural presence to the locality. Being a project with a very modest budget, a lot of attention was given to the aspects of making the design affordable by retaining the old structural bay. A new addition was done to accommodate the current requirements of spaceand lifestyle. To mark the new addition the abutting skewed wall was made out of Exposed brick as a design element.
