The site for this house is located in a lush green plotted community in West Ahmedabad. The client who is an industrialist based in Ahmedabad wanted a Vastu compliant house for a family of 5. Also the site of the house posed interesting challenges of accommodating huge requirements along with the constraints of Vastu principles. The resulting design is a response to the public corner of the site with a staggered massing and shaded terraces. Also the program of the house is divided into two parts with the public spaces on the ground floor and the private residential spaces on the above floors, with the garden on first floor as an extension of the living spaces.
